Girls Junior Varsity Softball Coach -- Lakeview Local Schools

POSITION: 

• Girls Junior Varsity Softball Coach
• Supplemental Contract 2026/2027 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must hold a valid Ohio Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit, CPR/First Aid Certification, Concussion Training, Ohio Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Training and Fundamentals of Coaching Certification.
• Displays appropriate appearance, behavior, and language during games and practices.
• Reflects a positive attitude and uses sound, consistent judgments when making decisions.
• Ability to motivate athletes.
• Prior coaching experience at or above high school level preferred.
• Knows the fundamentals of the sport.
• Has fundamental teaching and coaching ability.
• Responsible for issuing, care, and collection of equipment.
• Has respect, control, and discipline of athletes under his/her supervision.
• Exhibits intensity and dedication to coaching.
• Develops and distributes organized practice schedules which utilize staff, team and individuals to maximum potential.
• Shows in season and out of season involvement and commitment to program.
• Cooperates and communicates with players, parents, head and assistant coaches, athletic director and administration during the entire school year.
• Abides by the rules and regulations of the OHSAA and NE8.
• Successful BCI & FBI background checks. 

COMPENSATION: 

• In accordance with the negotiated agreement's salary schedule.
