Position Summary
The PWHL is seeking a Digital Products Coordinator to support the league's Digital and Marketing teams in delivering an elevated, engaging, and on-brand website experience across thepwhl.com and all team sites. This contract role is responsible for assisting with web content updates, Google Ad management, and digital reporting, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the league's digital presence reflects UX best practices and serves as a destination for compelling, up-to-date content. This is a contract position running from September through June, with approximately 30 hours per week expected. The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 USD/CAD. This posting is for a newly created position.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with regular reviews and updates to web pages, modules, and content across all PWHL league- and team-level sites.
- Support the execution of in-house Google Ads across all owned channels, primarily thepwhl.com and affiliated websites.
- Work with Digital team members to ensure the digital experience is engaging, on-brand, user-friendly, and reflective of the PWHL brand.
- Monitor and track Google Analytics GA4 real-time data for insights into web traffic.
- Support tracking performance metrics and creating reports for the Brand and Marketing team and applicable departments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Partnerships, PR, Grassroots, Merchandise, and Ticketing on web-based needs.
- Produce short-form written content and curate photography and video assets to deliver a best-in-class digital content experience.
- Assist with game day coverage across thepwhl.com as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in website content management or development.
- High proficiency in ContentStack or other web content management systems.
- Proficiency in Google Ad Manager and reporting for internal and external needs.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office programs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required.
- This position may be based in either the United States or Canada. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in their country of residence on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud platforms.
- Understanding of the sports digital content landscape and owned content ecosystem.
- Knowledge of HTML coding.
- Passion for the PWHL, women's hockey, and/or women's sports.
Flexibility & Travel
This is a remote contract role requiring flexibility to work evenings and weekends as dictated by event and game schedules. Occasional travel may be required.
