Position Summary
The Indy Ignite Pro Volleyball Team is seeking a driven, coachable, and relationship-focused Corporate Ticket Sales Representative to help grow new business for season, group, and premium ticket packages. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to build a career in business-to-business sales — starting conversations, building relationships with local business decision-makers, and positioning Indy Ignite tickets as a valuable business asset for revenue growth, employee retention, recruiting, recognition, and relationship-building (the "5 R's"). You'll be supported with hands-on coaching as you grow you skills and your book of business.

You'll be supported with hands-on coaching as you grow you skills and your book of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new corporate and business accounts for season, group, and premium ticket packages
- Represent Indy Ignite at networking groups (e.g., BNI-style groups), chambers of commerce, and community business events to build a consistent pipeline of business prospects
- Run a consultative, needs-based sales conversation — identifying how ticket packages solve real business challenges around client entertainment, employee retention, recruiting, recognition, and referral relationships
- Meet weekly performance benchmarks, including scheduled prospect meetings, secured deposits, and new prospects added to your pipeline
- Maintain and grow a personal book of corporate accounts, including renewals, upsells, and reactivating dormant relationships.
- Host and support corporate clients at games and VIP experiences to strengthen long-term relationships.
- Track all prospect and account activity accurately in the CRM and sales tools.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales.
Weekly Performance Expectations
Every Corporate Ticket Sales Representative is expected to hit the following weekly baseline:
● 3 prospect meetings booked (inviting a manager to at least 1 per week)
● 1 deposit secured
● 5 new prospects added to your active list
Qualifications
- ● 1–2 years of sales, business development, customer-facing, or relationship-building experience preferred
- Comfortable starting conversations, building relationships, and asking for business.
- Enjoys selling, can handle hearing “no,” is motivated by goals, and wants to improve through coaching.
- Experience engaging networking groups, chambers of commerce, or referral-based business communities is a plus, but not required.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Entrepreneurial and creative mindset.
- Proven record of coachability.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Ability to reach and exceed manageable goals.
- Ability to build relationships and drive results via face-to-face selling, phone calls, networking events, and technology/CRM tools.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- genuine passion for sports sales and being part of building something special from the ground up.
