Position Summary
The Broadcasting Graduate Assistant is responsible for duties including but not limited to all aspects of broadcasting: setup, on-air play-by-play/color analysis, and cleanup with the goal of creating, managing and maintaining content that strategically enhances the brand of the University of the Incarnate Word in all external communications.

Essential Functions
The Broadcasting Graduate Assistant will work with the broadcasting team throughout the year, assisting in many roles relating to broadcasting services with UIW Athletics. Serves as the on-air talent (play-by-play/color analyst) for all football games, both home and away, as well as all home games for volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. Serves as the on-air talent for additional events, as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Media Relations. Manages all aspects of broadcast operation: including broadcast rundown, ensuring all radio spots are being played correctly, running online audio stream, working with UIW staff to make sure sponsorship assets are being executed, etc. Interviews student-athletes and coaches for pregame/post-game shows. The Broadcasting Graduate Assistant required to travel during football season. Other duties as assigned.
