Here's a summary of responsibilities:
The Associate Director, Sales Enablement supports revenue-generating efforts across the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic business by leading the development of sales-focused narratives, creative concepts, and high-impact sales materials for sponsorship pitches, renewals, and internal initiatives. This role plays a critical part in translating the power, values, and reach of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements into compelling commercial storytelling for prospective and existing partners. This position sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, product, design, and leadership. The Associate Director partners closely with sales leads, asset development, commercial integration, research, brand, digital, and experiential teams to ideate, design, and deliver integrated partnership proposals and recaps that drive long-term, multi-year revenue growth. They will also collaborate with brand and design to create narratively, and visually compelling materials rooted in organizational vision and strategy. Here's how you'll have an impact:
Product Positioning & Storytelling
• Lead the development of go-to-market materials that articulate the value of Olympic and Paralympic partnership products, platforms, and programs
• Define why products matter to sponsors, how they solve brand objectives, and how they differentiate in the marketplace
• Translate complex research, audience insights, asset capabilities, and platform strategy into clear, compelling stories and visually engaging presentations
• Own the development of sales decks, proposals, media kits, and internal sales enablement materials
• Partner with the brand team to ensure sales narratives and materials are an extension of organizational brand vision and strategy
• Partner with the insights team to conduct research to support prospective brand briefs and category-focused sales materials
Sales Materials & Sponsor Recaps
• Lead high-volume presale integrated sales materials development for sponsorship sales teams across partnership categories
• Ideate, design, and write proposals supporting large-scale sponsorship opportunities
• Transform campaign performance, activation results, and program outcomes into sponsor-facing recap narratives that reinforce value and renewal opportunity
• Ensure all materials are visually strong, logically structured, and aligned to brand and platform standards
• Create division-wide templates and frameworks that improve quality, clarity, and consistency in sales materials and partner reporting
Creative Strategy & Visualization
• Strategically align sellable assets, programs, and platforms with prospect/partner needs to build compelling, sellable, and executable integrated sales materials
• Partner with the design lead responsible for creating visually realistic mockups of partnership activations, athlete integrations, event experiences, and digital executions
• Advise on athlete and fan demographics, industry insights, and category trends to strengthen partner relevance and authenticity
• Act as a strategic interpreter, translating technical, data-heavy, or complex product information into sponsor-ready language
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with asset development, commercial integration, brand, insights, marketing, social, and experiential teams to develop strategic narratives and create impactful proposals and recaps
• Collaborate with colleagues on research, deck development, and sales support projects
Process, Standards & Capability Building
• Build scalable systems, templates, and processes that elevate sales effectiveness and efficiency across a growing portfolio
• Serve as an internal expert on presentation best practices, storytelling structure, and data interpretation
• Train and coach internal teams (without direct management responsibility) on effective storytelling, presentation creation, and evolving digital and social assets
• Perform other duties as assigned
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of experience in sales enablement, creative strategy, brand strategy, partnerships, sponsorship, marketing strategy, or related commercial roles
• Demonstrated success developing pitch decks, product narratives, go-to-market stories, integrated marketing proposals, and recap storytelling that have driven revenue
• Experience supporting mission-driven brands, large-scale platforms, or values-based partnerships
• Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information and present it concisely, persuasively, and visually
• Proven ability to identify product value and translate it into persuasive, sponsor-relevant messaging
• Advanced proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects a plus)
• Strong attention to detail with a refined eye for layout, hierarchy, and visual clarity
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Hiring pay range $97,000 - $107,000 per year. This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week. Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
