Description
Assistant Women's Softball Coach- 1st Assistant is responsible for all phases of developing and maintaining a successful Women's Softball Program at the college through their support of the Head Women's Softball Coach.  This is a part-time seasonal position.


*This position coaches the Gloucester Campus Roadrunners*

Examples of Duties

Recruitment of potential student-athletes
Practice preparation
In and out-of season training
Game/match day management
Retention of quality student-athletes
Ensure the success and safety of student athletes on and off the field
Safe transportation of team members to and from away contests
Adherence to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCGC and Athletic Department rules and regulations
Assist the Head Coach with fundraising and development of alumni and community relations
Ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the College
Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Executive Director of Athletics


Minimum Qualifications

Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport of softball is required
Associates degree required
Valid driver's license in good standing required
