Assistant Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach

Salisbury Township School District is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and student-centered Girls Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead and develop a high school volleyball program. The coach will be responsible for helping to plan, organize, and conduct practices and competitions while promoting the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes. Responsibilities include assisting with practice planning, drills, and game strategy; supporting in-game decisions such as rotations and substitutions; evaluating player performance and providing feedback; scouting opponents and preparing game plans; and promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and respect. The assistant coach is also responsible for supervising student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team events. The position requires a strong understanding of and strict adherence to Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) rules, regulations, and eligibility requirements, as well as compliance with school district policies and maintaining all required Pennsylvania clearances and certifications. Candidates should have prior volleyball playing and/or coaching experience, a solid knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and strategies, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
