The Fan Insights & Technology team sits at the center of powering the Olympic and Paralympic Movement, helping teams make data-driven decisions by bringing the voice of the fan into strategic conversations. This group delivers robust analytics across Movement organizations, teams, and commercial partners, informing critical decisions that will allow us to maximize the opportunity of two back-to-back home Games and an unprecedented decade of sport in the U.S. The Fan Insights & Technology team acts as a shared service supporting the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), LA28, and our commercial joint-venture U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Properties (USOPP). The Analyst, Consumer Insights will provide analytical, operational, and strategic support for consumer research programs across the full spectrum of needs in the Olympic and Paralympic Movement. This role will collaborate with other USOPC and LA28 functional areas (including but not limited to USOPC Marketing and Strategic Impact, USOPP Partnership Marketing, Sales, and Consumer Products, LA28 Marketing & Communications, and NBC Insights). The Analyst, Consumer Insights should have proven experience in quantitative and qualitative consumer research, social listening, synthesizing insights, and communicating findings clearly to diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a data-focused background and a structured thought process who is able to tackle new challenges effectively.
Here's how you'll have an impact:
Consumer Research Initiatives
• Support primary research initiatives from study design, project management, analysis, visualization, and presentation
• Serve as the research operations and data quality lead across all primary and vendor-led quantitative research programs (e.g., survey programming, sample plans, data collection, data table creation, and organization)
• Support qualitative research programs and processes (e.g., recruitment, screening, logistics, and analysis)
• Manage and enhance the in-house U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Fan Community, leading the creation of new activities, recruitment, and data hygiene across member profiling
• Support the fulfillment of ad-hoc fan insights requests from key stakeholders, working in close collaboration with other team members
• Support research and reporting around Olympic & Paralympic Games windows
Consumer Research Program Foundation
• Maintain and support the implementation of foundational industry best-practices, procedures, and standards across the full consumer research value chain
• Ensure consistency across programs and question types as new studies are designed
• Ensure that consumer research data and findings from Games windows are rigorously structured and maintained for future reference and comparability
• Manage the creation and optimization of key research deliverables
• Support initiatives to improve data quality, implement research best practices, and ensure accuracy across deliverables
Insights Tools & Platforms
• Support projects relying on core syndicated data tools, configuring and querying data as needed.
• Support the day-to-day social listening program, including underlying configuration, optimization, and reporting on ad-hoc/emerging needs, as well as collaborating on data integration with our broader infrastructure
• Support the PR/media monitoring program in collaboration with LA28 and USOPC Communications
• Proactively identify opportunities to complement primary research initiatives with third-party and syndicated data sources
• Perform other duties as assigned
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, statistics, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience as a data analyst, research analyst, or marketing analyst
• Experience with primary research, survey development tools, and syndicated data
• Self-motivated, independent, creative thinking, ambitious, and results-oriented, with skill in defining tasks, seeking feedback, and evolving work where applicable
• Ability to work effectively in a close team environment, providing project management for various projects and initiatives
• Extremely detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong soft skills in client service and collaboration
• Capability to distill information clearly and to explain complex issues with precision and consistency

Hiring pay range $73,000 - $80,000 per year. This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week. Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 10% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
